Performance
The 2019 Chevrolet Colorado has 3 available engines: the Duramax® 2.8L Turbo-Diesel engine, the 3.6L DOHC V6, which puts out 308 horsepower, and the base trim’s 2.5L 4-cylinder engine.
There’s more to the Colorado than it’s engine though. Segment-exclusive Multimatic DSSV™ Damping System and available 4-wheel drive take this truck off-road and into the backcountry. A purpose-built off-road suspension and front and rear locking differentials only add to the stability and control that you have on those tough back roads.
Design
Chevrolet has proved that they believe a trucks ruggedness doesn’t have to translate to its interior. They’ve added available heated steering and front seats that are cloth or leather wrapped, an available Bose® surround sound system, and built in WiFi hotspot, just to name a few amenities. The cab also features triple-sealed doors that keeps the interior quiet.
On the exterior, there are corner steps and hand grips, along with cargo tie downs for your convenience. For customizations sake, there are dozens of attachments to transform your truck into exactly what you need in any occasion. Some of the attachments include:

Safety
The 2019 Colorado has some of the most advanced safety systems in the industry, including Cheyv’s Teen Driving System. The Teen Driving System includes such things as a speed limit alert, a volume limit to keep them focused on the road, and a buckle up alert that will keep the car in park and alert them to buckle their seat belt. Also, while your teen is driving, the system will store details on their performance and provide it to you so you can guide them into better driving practices.
Other safety features include blind spot detection, forward collision warning and avoidance, surround view cameras, lane departure alert, adaptive cruise control, and pedestrian detection.
