Performance

Drivers have a choice of equipping their 2019 Camaro with four different powertrain options, with each more powerful than the last. The available powertrains range from a 2.0L turbocharged engine capable of delivering 275 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque to a 6.2L LT4 V8 supercharged turbo engine packs a monstrous 650 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. 

For drivers who love to revel in the might of their engines, Chevrolet also offers a dual-mode exhaust feature on each of the three driver-selectable modes. This function adjusts the sound your engine makes as you rev up, enabling it to roar louder than you thought possible. 

The 2019 Chevrolet Camaro also comes available with three different transmission options:

• A 6-speed manual transmission, featuring a short-throw shifter and active rev matching
• An 8-speed paddle-shift automatic 
• A 10-speed paddle-shift automatic 

The Camaro isn’t all about power, though. This sports car comes available with Magnetic Ride Control™, which allows it to read the road and accordingly adjust damping (in just 10 milliseconds) for a consistently smooth ride.
