The Equinox has seating for five dispersed across 103.2 cubic feet of passenger volume. Front head and legroom measure 40 and 40.9 inches respectively while rear passengers enjoy nearly as much with 38.5 inches of headroom and 39.7 inches of legroom.
Safety
The airbag system in the Chevy Equinox includes airbags for the driver, front passenger and both rear outboard passengers along with a Passenger Sensing System. StabiliTrak® keeps the Equinox under control during low-traction conditions and is one of several standard safety features that also includes Teen Driver, OnStar, a tire-pressure monitoring system and a rear vision camera.
Technology
The 2018 Chevy Equinox comes loaded with a Chevrolet MyLink® audio system that includes a 7-inch color touchscreen display with Bluetooth capability, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility and voice-activated technology. The 2018 Chevy Equinox can be distinguished from its 2017 predecessor in several ways. There are a total of three engine options on the current model year compared with just two for the 2017 Equinox.
An available Surround Vision camera is new in 2018 and provides the driver with a 360-degree view of the outside. Chrome trim, projector-beam headlamps, and a kneeling rear seat also debut in the 2018 model year.
